Slow Entrepreneurship
WHAT IS IT?
Slow Entrepreneurship is rooted in the belief that, as the founder of your company, your well-being is your greatest priority. When you make your well-being your top priority, you go farther, faster. We promote a set of values + practices intended to fuel your engine as you build a business that thrives.
Our Values
WHAT WE BELIEVE
WORK SMARTER, NOT HARDER
We believe strategic planning results in lighter labor. Working smarter, not hustling harder, enables us to achieve our goals faster with less effort. Busyness does not engineer success.
YOU ARE NOT WHAT YOU DO
We believe that each person’s worth is inherent in their humanity and is not determined by their metrics, nor by what they accomplish. Personal worth cannot be earned, altered, or destroyed.
REST IS PRODUCTIVE
We believe our bodies are made to go through cycles of work, play, and rest. When we observe this rhythm, we increase creativity, productivity, and the quality of our work + lives.
HEALTH IS NOT OPTIONAL
We believe that personal well-being is essential to success. Neglecting physical, mental, emotional, or relational health disrupts an individual’s ability to contribute and compromises the integrity of a business.
PEOPLE OVER PROFIT
We believe that people matter most, and that the well-being of its workers is a company’s top priority. Productivity and profit should never compromise a person’s welfare.
USE TECHNOLOGY RESPONSIBLY
We believe the fundamental purpose of technology is to expedite productivity. We set limitations around device usage that enable us to take advantage of its benefits without compromising well-being.
BOUNDARIES OVER BALANCE
We believe healthy boundaries around our work force us to use our time more effectively, and enable us to be more present in everyday life.
FAST IS SLOW, SLOW IS FAST
We believe that constant busyness slows productivity, while focused efforts with increased boundaries enable us to achieve our goals faster with less effort.
WORK TO LIVE, DON’T LIVE TO WORK
We believe the purpose of work is to support a life well-lived, not diminish it. Therefore, build businesses around our lives, not lives around our businesses.*

“Being an excellent time manager doesn't mean that you must become a workaholic. On the contrary, time mastery allows you more time to do the things you love to do, the things that are truly waiting for you.”
